The following should be the definition of "the absurd". Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement (a.k.a. Flight of the Conchords) have been all over YouTube for some time now and it wasn't long before someone figured out how to capitalize on this eccentric duo. HBO is in the middle of the first season of Flight of the Conchords this summer. Though a comedic-digi-folk-music-duo televesion series sounds a bit absurd in and of itself, James Bobin and Troy Miller at HBO seemed to have figured out a unique style that is both ridiculous and ingenius.

You can see a handful of the videos at the show's HBO site or there are plenty of version of just the two of them on YouTube. Enjoy.
