r-rednow_sm.pngWell... here we are.

Welcome.

We have now been toying with the idea of a community site such as this for over a year now. I love that there is a variety of people involved in the process: some are here by curiosity, some contributing, a handful participating (you are by being here), and plenty could care less.

We are okay with any of that.

We were hesitant placing the site "live" at its current stage as much of the content/functionality is not in place, but we felt it important to let the site evolve on its own.

"What is rednow?" continues to be a common question.

And a question that has been somewhat hard to answer. We have made an attempt to shed insight on the matter here . However, it might be just as easy to state that rednow is simply a space and/or collection of "things" we enjoy. Though any "thing" is fair game, we tend to gravitate towards various artistic mediums that cause us to stop and....

...well... thus the name.

We are excited about the plans we have for the site and ask for your patience as we rollout new content and features. During the "beta" stage we will focus on content/art that we have been sitting on for some time which will eventually allow us to focus on what could be categorized as "newer". This said, we'll do our best to release things as they show up.

Know that we have intentionally created this site to be a niche community - a community of people that enjoy similar things/art that we do and that you will find present here. Because the nature of a community is to "participate", we invite you to do just this. Maybe it's "commenting" on something you've read, or posing a question in the forum, or suggesting something you'd like to see.

We do have plans for everyone to be able to share your own work and/or the "things" you find, but until then ask that you submit via the forum or by our contact page.

All for now. More to come.

Once again... welcome. And of course...

Enjoy.

Your are currently browsing this site with Internet Explorer 6 (IE6).

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
